Consider renting a boat to explore Elizabeth Harbour, Stocking Island, Crab Cay and the many other beautiful coves and cays only minutes away. Or you can hire a skipper or take the Water Taxi from Government Dock to some of the same places, enjoying the local hospitality at one of the beach bars. The crystalline waters of the entire Harbor offers excellent snorkeling. Scuba diving is also an option through a local dive shop. Enjoy stalking many large bonefish nearby by wading flats or from a boat, either on your own or with a guide. In addition, great deep sea fishing is only minutes away, available by charter. Hire a captain for the day to explore nearby islands. And, last but definitely not least, experience swimming with the pigs at the Western end of the island. Google swimming with the pigs Bahamas to find out more!

Rental Cars
HIGHLY RECOMMEND RENTING A CAR.
Airport Car Rental
They’re the most conveniently located; immediately across the street from the airport. Once you’ve cleared customs and have walked outside to the road, walk down the road to your right; Airport Car Rental’s fenced lot is just across the street and their office is about 25 yards further.

242-345-0058 thompsonsrental@hotmail.comTaxi Services
With increased tourism to the island, taxis are in greater demand. While still a reliable option for airport transfers (which the taxi office seems to prioritize), taxis are no longer a reliable option for short notice, short distance, or island-exploring requests. For this reason, we now encourage guests to book a rental car to avoid these frustrations. If you decide to rely on taxis for airport transfers, please be aware that you may have a wait at the airport. For taxi service back to the airport, you’ll need to make arrangements directly with the taxi office ahead of time (at least 24 hours in advance).Exuma Travel & Transportation Ltd.
