Our Story
As a teenager from Minnesota, I was introduced to the Bahamas from my parents. Our first trips were to Nassau, Treasure Cay and Harbour Island with a mixture of my siblings and their families. Our family fell in love with the Bahamas! My parents continued to explore the Bahamas, as their nest became more empty, both by land and by sea, navigating the waters of Eleuthera, Harbour Island and the Exumas. Many years later, my husband, children and I, were introduced to the Exumas by family friends. We went on to explore Exuma Out Islands and added in Long Island and even circled back to Harbour Island. Our hearts were left in the Exumas, though! Through a course of dreaming and searching for our next adventure in our early stages of empty nesterhood, we came across Sea Star Villa in Great Exuma. All came into fruition only because of the professionalism and pure willingness the previous owners shared with us. We came into our ownership after many T’s were crossed and may I’s were dotted in late June 2021.
